We are pleased to announce Marilyn Lawrie is joining the Quinte Humane Society (QHS) as the Interim Executive Director starting September 21, 2020.

Marilyn, who is currently the General Manager/Digital Media Manager for Stirling Festival Theatre will be working halftime for QHS while the organization continues recruitment efforts for a permanent Executive Director.

Marilyn is well known throughout the Quinte Region for her former administrative and management positions with The Quinte Ballet School of Canada, the Belleville Downtown Improvement Area, the Quinte Symphony and the Quinte Arts Council as well as Loyalist College.

Chair Donna Endicott said, “ We are delighted to have Marilyn bring her extensive experience working in community organizations to the Quinte Humane Society. Our Campaign to build a new Community and Regional Animal Care Centre is well underway and Marilyn’s interim leadership will let us continue our efforts to raise those critical funds for the new building.”
