Happy Tails 🐱

Peaches, now known as Philip Peach was brought in as a stray when he was found by one of our foster families. QHS vaccinated, dewormed and treated him for fleas as well as neutered him. He has since been adopted. He has settled in great and loves his 2 puggle brothers.        

 

2019 Yearly Stats

In 2019, we took in a total of 1,663 animals! 1,218 of those were cats, 397 dogs, and 39 other animals.

We adopted out 811 cats, 198 dogs and 52 other animals. 52 cats were returned to owners, 146 dogs returned and 2 other animals made it back to their homes.

We also transferred out 417 animals to other like minded shelters and rescue organizations.

Quinte Mall Community Booth

Perhaps you saw the Quinte Humane Society booth set up at the Quinte mall the week before Christmas 2019. If you stopped by to purchase some of our branded merchandise, or perhaps some amazing Donini chocolate bars we have for sale, We, at the QHS want to THANK YOU for your support! We exceeded last years’ sales by a whopping $1439.00! We were there for only 5 days this year, compared to having an extra day last year. A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to the group of amazing volunteers, that donated their time to work one or more shifts the week of December 16-20 2019. Without our Volunteers we would not have seen this success! Volunteers are an invaluable asset to the QHS, and we appreciate everyone’s time spent with this fundraiser!

Once received you will be contacted to attend an orientation, and when completed, you can begin volunteering with the Quinte Humane Society!

Belleville Senators game vs. Toronto Marlies on FEBRUARY 7^th, 2020. Tickets are being sold for $28.50 with $5 from each ticket being donated back to QHS.
