The Quinte Humane Society is a registered charity operating in Belleville Ontario, and supporting the communities of Hastings and Prince Edward Counties. The following position is available at our Belleville location.

Kennel Attendant – Casual Weekends

($11.55/Hour)

Reporting to the Manager and Shelter Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining effective animal care protocol and procedures. Essential functions include:

• Feeding, bathing, grooming, exercising and care of animals
• General cleaning and disinfecting of premises and equipment
• Laundry duties, customer service
• Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act

You will also have the ability to work in a team environment and take direction well. The ability to work under stress is essential. A valid Ontario Drivers Licence (G), 25 years of age and older, with a clean driver’s abstract is also required.
