The PART-TIME ANIMAL CARE ATTENDANT is responsible for the day to day care and cleanliness of the shelter animals and premises. He/She is responsible for the health and well-being of all the animals at the shelter i.e. administering medication, feeding, grooming etc…
Assists with adoptions and other duties when required and is to maintain an organized, positive and safe environment for employees, volunteers, visitors and animals.

Provides excellent customer service in a professional, friendly, helpful and efficient manner to the organization and the community.

Due to Animal Transportation duties and shelter vehicle insurance, applicant must have a valid G licence with a clean abstract and be at least 25 years of age.
