The Quinte Humane Society celebrated two dedicated volunteers on Tuesday the 28^th of May 2019 at our AGM. Gerald Collette, who has served as a transportation volunteer, cat socializer and Board member for many years, has retired from the organization after years of dedicated service. Gerald was always appreciated by the staff who looked forward to his cheerful visits as much as the cats did. Gerald is retiring as he and his wife relocate out of area to spend more time with family. He will be missed greatly by all.

Pat Culhane has been on the Board of Directors for six years and is stepping down as per our Bylaws. Pat has played a vital leadership role both guiding and representing the organization through a period of positive change. Pat has agreed to remain with the organization, volunteering in a key role that will see her active as ever. Staff always look forward to her visits as she is known to spoil them with her delicious baking. We are all looking forward to Pat’s continued support.
