Paul is a 1-year-old shar pei/lab mix. He came to us as a stray, brought in by a member of the public. Right away QHS knew he needed medical treatment, as he was suffering from skin, eye and ear issues. He was taken to the vet and treated with antibiotics. Paul responded well to the treatment and with a strict diet of D/D (food for skin and food sensitivities) he is looking and feeling great. Paul will need to stay on this diet for likely the entirety of his life so that his issues do not flare up. Being young still, Paul will need someone who understands he has had little to no training and will need to be put into an obedience class to help work on his manners. He is super friendly and seems to really enjoy being around people. Paul is an extremely active dog and would do best in a home where he can get many walks/runs to use up some of his extra energy. Adoption fee: $400.00 incl. spay/neuter, microchip, 1st vaccination, bordetella shot, 1st deworming, flea treatment (if necessary), four weeks free pet insurance and a free vet exam.
