Podrick is an 11-month-old male brown tabby. He came to us when his owner was no longer able to care for him. Podrick was not a happy cat when he first arrived and it has taken him some time to settle in and get used to life here at the shelter. He will take time to settle into his new home as well. Podrick is an indoor cat and has only ever lived inside. He is litter trained and has not had any issues with using his litterbox while in our care. Like most cats, Podrick isn’t the biggest fan of being picked up. He will tolerate it for a short time but would prefer to get attention while standing on his own feet. He likes to be pet and really enjoys a good back scratch. Podrick was living with a child in the previous home, but it was suggested that he is not great with children, so we are looking for a childfree home for him. We do not know how he would react to other pets in the home as he has only lived by himself. With proper introduction, he could potentially live with another cat. If you are interested in meeting Podrick, you can drop by the shelter, 527 Avonlough Road, Belleville. Cat Adoption fee of $140 includes; Spay/Neuter, first vaccination, general deworming, advantage if needed, microchip, four weeks of free trial pet insurance and a free exam at a local participating vet. The Quinte Humane Society adopts out cats and kittens onsite at the shelter or from PetSmart, Bestie’s Pet Spa & Tropical Gardens Pet Shop. Please call the shelter at 613-968-4673 ahead of time to ensure the cat you are interested in is still available or if you have any questions.
