Bandit is a 2-year-old male Bulldog Rottweiler mix. He is scared being here but is overall a friendly guy. He is still adjusting to life in the shelter. He has gone out with our regular dog walkers and they haven’t seemed to have any issue with walking him. Bandit’s one flaw is that he like to jump. He will jump up on you, but this can be worked on with an obedience class.. Because of the jumping we are suggesting that he goes to a home without young children as they can be knocked down easily. He has had a meet & greet with some children and he did just fine, it’s not that he dislikes them, just that his size, energy level and jumping could cause unintended injuries to a small child. We have seen that Bandit seems to really take to women more so than men. It is not that he doesn’t like men, he gets along fine with them, but seems to really love them women. We have not officially dog tested him yet, but we were told he dislikes bigger, more dominant dogs. Bandit really loves to play, toys are his most favorite thing in the whole world, and he will do just about anything to have a toy. If you think you might be a good fit for Bandit, please come & meet him at the shelter, 527 Avonlough Road, Belleville.
