Pips & Boogie are a pair of 2.5-year-old neutered males. They have been with us for a while now and have settled in nicely. They do not need to be adopted together, but they would need to be in a home with another cat, as they really enjoy the company of other cats, and have always lived with other cats. Pips & Boogie seem to enjoy dogs, they have been used for dog tests here at the shelter and showed no fear or aggression towards them. The boys would prefer a home with adults only, as they do not like being picked up and they enjoy a quieter atmosphere. Pips is the more outgoing of the two but both enjoy being pet and getting chin scratches. They will climb into your lap and all over you trying to get attention and affection. Cat Adoption fee of $175 includes; Spay/Neuter, first vaccination, rabies vaccination, general deworming, advantage if needed, microchip, four weeks of free trial pet insurance and a free exam at a local participating vet.

The Quinte Humane Society adopts out cats and kittens onsite at the shelter or from PetSmart & Tropical Gardens Pet Shop. Items Needed: Bleach, toilet paper (for our staff & volunteers), spay shirts for the kitties after surgery, and a rolling spreader, for putting out salt/sand in our parking lots to keep staff, volunteers and our dogs safe.
