Tune into CJBQ 800 AM to listen live on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:25 AM for Featured Pets and other great information about QHS proudly sponsored by CJBQ, the station that cares about community!
Missy is a 12-year-old spayed female. She has been with us for almost 4 months and is currently in foster care. Missy is a very friendly girl who really enjoys the company of humans. She loves being pet so much that she will give you love nibbles when you stop giving her the attention she wants. Missy is a super laidback cat who loves a good nap and enjoys her cozy cat bed to sleep in. She would enjoy being the only pet in the home. Missy has been sponsored and has had bloodwork that came back showing she is a healthy girl. She is currently on a medicated bath as she came in with some skin irritation. This is being done every 2 weeks right now, and she is very well behaved for it, she will stand perfectly still once the water is running. Being a longer haired cat, she will also need to be brushed frequently, which is best suited to 2 people as she can get a bit fussy when brushing certain spots. Meeting Missy can be arranged through the shelter.
Missy is part of our Senior for Senior program, and her adoption fee will be waived for an adopter over the age of 65 years, with an approved application.
Missy’s Adoption fee is $140 & includes; Spay/Neuter, first vaccination, rabies vaccination, general deworming, advantage if needed, microchip, four weeks of free trial pet insurance and a free exam at a local participating vet.
