A special boy is seeking a special forever home!

This sweetheart came into the care of HSHPE due to no fault of his own and has had a rough journey so far. Macchiato's health has been a challenge but through wonderful dedicated care from staff and working closely with a great veterinarian he is finally healthy enough to complete his journey of finding a new forever home.

This handsome boy is very playful and loves to spend his days chasing around any and all toys that move in front of him. His favourites are springs, tunnels and dangly wand toys. This handsome boy loves to be the centre of attention and keeps staff entertained and on their toes every day. He loves to perch on our back and shoulders and doesn't mind being picked up. He would do great with kids!

Macchiato is looking for a home where he can be the only animal. He likes to be the king of his castle and does not want to share the love and affection of his new family with other animals.

Macchiato must have a close relationship with his new veterinarian due to his digestive issues. He is portion fed a hypoallergenic hydrolyzed protein diet in a slow feeding dish. He must remain on this food in his new home. He is also eating probiotics mixed with water which he loves and is getting a monthly B12 injection for his inflammatory bowel.
