Tune into CJBQ 800 AM to listen live on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:25 AM for Featured Pets and other great information about QHS proudly sponsored by CJBQ, the station that cares about community!
Joey is a 9-year-old neutered male. He is mostly white with black markings and is declawed on the front paws. Joey has always been an indoor kitty and he would like to keep it that way. He looks like a grumpy old man, but he is actually a sweet boy. He enjoys being pet, but likes to keep all 4 feet on the ground instead of being picked up. He can be a bit shy in a new environment but will warm up in time. Joey is said to be good with adults, older children and other cats. He does not like dogs very much, especially big ones. He was living with another cat, and he may come out of his shell a little faster in a home with another kitty friend for him to hang out with. Joey is new to the shelter and staff is still getting to know him. If you’ve been looking to add an older, laid back cat to your household, take a chance and come meet Joey!
Joey does qualify for our Senior for Senior program.
