Meet sweet little Abby! She is a 3-year-old female Jack Russel Beagle mix. She is a small girl, weighing in at only 24lbs. Abby was surrendered to us after her owner passed away and she wasn’t settling into her new home. She was very timid around the dogs in the home and did not get along with them. Abby can be a shy girl and you may think she looks sad in her kennel, but take her out for a walk and play time in the yard and you will see a whole new dog! Abby loves to be outside, she gets her nose to the ground and goes. She has also enjoyed spending time with a 12-year-old boy here at the shelter and would do best in a home with children over 10 years as the younger kids seem to make her a bit nervous. Abby is fully house trained and walks wonderfully on the leash. She is looking for a home where she can be the only dog, she has a yard to play in with her new family, she can take lots of walks and cuddle on a nice comfy couch. Adoption fee: $400.00 incl. spay/neuter, microchip, 1st vaccination, bordetella vaccination, 1st deworming, flea treatment (if necessary), four weeks’ free pet insurance and a free vet exam.
