Alonzo is a 2-year-old neutered male. He came to us as a transfer from a local pound. Alonzo is a very friendly cat, you can find him at the front of the cage waiting for you to open it and pet him. He enjoys being pet and of course a really good chin scratch. Alonzo is good with other cats, but we are unsure how he would be around dogs. He does not enjoy being picked up, and would prefer that his feet stay firmly on the ground while he gets his attention. Cat Adoption Fee of $140 includes; Spay/Neuter, first vaccination, general deworming, advantage if needed, microchip, four weeks of free trial pet insurance and a free exam at a local participating vet.

The Quinte Humane Society adopts out cats and kittens onsite at the shelter or from PetSmart & Tropical Gardens Pet Shop. Items needed: Small cat scratch boxes or toys (that will fit in our cages), kitten pate canned food, small garbage cans with lids, heavy duty garbage bags & a squeegee for our dog area.
