Belle is an 8-year-old blue female. She is the softest cat you will ever pet. Belle was surrendered to us as she was peeing on things outside the litterbox. Since coming to us, Belle has had no issue with using her box at all, not even one mess outside of it. Belle was living in a home with children, and this was likely causing her stress. She is very easily stressed and is fearful of new situations, loud noises and anything that may be startling. Belle is a very nice cat, she enjoys being pet, but it takes her time to warm up to you. She is not mean, she doesn’t hiss, growl or swat at you, she just tries to get away when she is scared or uncomfortable. Belle is looking for a nice quiet home with adults only and no other animals, especially dogs. She is looking for a home that understands she will take some time to get comfortable and come out of hiding. Belle will need a home that can be patient, as she may take weeks to get comfortable in her new home. But she is definitely worth the wait! If you would like to meet Belle, she can be viewed at the shelter, 527 Avonlough Road, Belleville. Cat Adoption fee of $140 includes; Spay/Neuter, first vaccination, general deworming, advantage if needed, microchip, four weeks of free trial pet insurance and a free exam at a local participating vet.
