Captain Corny

Captain Corny is a handsome 5-year-old orange tabby that came into care as a stray. He had been roaming the finder property for about a year, and with winter approaching they didn't want him to have to face another harsh winter outside. He was in rough shape when he arrived. The first thing we noticed was his head was noticeably tilted to one side, which will remain for the duration of his life.

Captain Corny is a very unique cat and he is looking for a unique home, one that is best suited for his challenges. We are hoping there is someone out there with a huge heart, that will love this beautiful boy for the remainder of his life. He is such a lovable boy. We have tried Captain Corny in a small room where he can freely roam, and it's very apparent that he prefers a small space. Due to his mobility issues, a small room, or apartment would be perfect for him. He doesn't run, and can't jump up due to his lack of balance. All he requires to live his happiest, most fulfilling life is to access everything he needs in a small area and an infinite source of head scratches and snuggles. Because of his balance issues, Captain Corny doesn't like being picked up, he finds it to be extremely stressful. You'll find him with four on the floor at all times. In addition to his mobility issues, he was also diagnosed with FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus). Cats with this diagnosis can live long and meaningful lives and Captain Corny deserves nothing less.
