Dante is a 3-year-old male brown tabby with white. He came to us as a stray and was never claimed. Dante had a horrible urinary tract infection when he came in, as well as being covered in fleas, full of worms and having ear mites. It has been a long road to recovery for Dante, but he is a trooper and is finally available for adoption. He is shy at first and takes some time to get used to new surroundings and new people. Once he is settled and gets to know you he is a very friendly boy. He loves the other cats here and would really like his new home to have kitty friends. They would also help him to come out of his shell a little more. Dante is very curious about mellow, laid back dogs and would likely be fine with a calm dog friend who knew how to interact with cats. Dante loves belly rubs and will roll over for one when he’s comfortable during a petting. He enjoys having a bed to curl up in and sleep. Dante loves having his wet food treat, but he is currently on a urinary diet so he will need to be given a urinary wet food as well as kibble, in order to prevent him from getting further urinary tract infections which could lead to him getting urinary crystals. Dante can’t wait to meet his new people (and hopefully new kitty friends too)!
