Deacon is a 9-month-old female kitten. She came to us as a stray with her sister. Deacon is taking her time coming around to people. She is very shy and you can often find her sitting at the back of the cage staring out at the world. She has come around though and will let you pet her. When Deacon is super happy and enjoying being pet, she will start to drool. She needs a quiet home where she can learn to trust humans. She would likely benefit from having another cat in the home, as this might help bring her out of her shell.

The Quinte Humane Society adopts out cats and kittens onsite at the shelter or from PetSmart in Belleville ON.
