Dexter is a handsome & laid-back fellow. He came into our care when he was struggling with the dogs in his prior home. He would like to be adopted into a home where he is either the only animal, or he can be adopted with his friend Lucifer that he came to the shelter with. Dexter and Lucifer are not bonded, they can live alone, but they don’t mind each others company either.

Dexter enjoys being pet and getting the attention from staff and volunteers. He is truly a sweet boy that would fit into any home that is calm and quiet. He loves a good lap to curl up on. Dexter would prefer a home with adults or older kids.

A home where Dexter can curl up in the sun and watch the birds would be lovely. He does enjoy spending time watching the goings on outside the windows here at the shelter.

Dexter is currently eating Dental food and it is recommended that he remains on this food in his new furever home.

Wish list: Special diets like Dental & I/D foods, towels, flat sheets or old blankets and heavy duty garbage bags.
