Figuero is an approximately 2-year-old male cat. He was found as a stray and taken in while the finders tried to find his owners. After being unsuccessful, he was brought to the shelter. Figuero is a shy guy, and it takes him some time to get settled into a new environment. Once he is settled, he is a sweetheart who enjoys being pet slowly. He is not a lap cat at this time, but he may get to that point once he is comfortable with his new family. He is looking for a home that will take the time and have the patience for him to get comfortable in his new surroundings. Figuero would like to live his life in a quiet home with adults and older children only. We are unsure how he would be with cats but he cannot live with dogs, as he has been tested and it did not go well. Figuero will need to have a dental cleaning performed before adoption. This will be included in his adoption fee.

Cat Adoption fee of $175 includes; Spay/Neuter, first vaccination, rabies vaccination, general deworming, advantage if needed, microchip, four weeks of free trial pet insurance and a free exam at a local participating vet.

The Quinte Humane Society adopts out cats and kittens onsite at the shelter or from PetSmart & Tropical Gardens Pet Shop. Items Needed: Small cat scratch boxes or toys (that will fit in our cages), a 6-can mini fridge, bleach & small kitty cones or spay shirts to keep them from licking after surgeries.
