This sweet girl was taken in by the Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward after she was left at our front door. She is a young adult, medium sized, mixed breed female. Fresca was skittish when she first arrived but is now loving attention from staff and volunteers at the shelter. She really enjoys having her head pet and body massaged and will hop over, wiggle her nose and ask for more if you stop! Fresca enjoys exploring during her cage free exercise time. She is very active, social, and looking for a home that can provide her with a lot of space and attention.

Fresca has been spayed since coming into our care. This is reflected in her adoption fee of 140.00. Spayed rabbits live healthier, happier, longer lives. It also reduces destructive and territorial behaviours, and makes litter training a lot easier! Fresca has been impressing us with how quickly she has caught onto litter training. Fresca loves fresh veggies, and wants you to know strawberries are her favorite treat.

As always, please do your research on rabbit behaviour, heath, nutrition, and general care before applying to adopt. Rabbits can live 10-15 years if properly cared for. They make amazing pets and companions but are not low maintenance animals.
