Garnet is a beautiful 2-year-old female hound mix. She is a large girl and still a puppy so she could use some training to help her become the perfect companion. She can be very bouncy when she gets on the leash outside. Garnet is full of energy as she is still young, so she would love to have a big fenced in yard to where she can play with her new family. Garnet came to QHS as a stray, so we don’t have any background information on how she is with children, other animals or housetraining. Because of this and the fact she is a big dog, we think she would do best in a home with children who are over the age of 13. She can be tested with other dogs, and if you have a dog, a meet & greet would be required.

Adoption fee: $400.00 incl. spay/neuter, microchip, 1st vaccination, bordetella shot, 1st deworming, flea treatment (if necessary), four weeks free pet insurance and a free vet exam.
