Tune into CJBQ 800 AM to listen live on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:25 AM for Featured Pets and other great information about QHS proudly sponsored by CJBQ, the station that cares about community!
George is an adventurous 7-year-old neutered male that came into our care as a stray that was not claimed. He was covered in wounds and needed a safe space to heal. It was apparent he had a rough go at life on the streets. He is a very independent boy that likes life on his own terms. George loves sitting in a window watching birds and would love a cat tree and window in his new home. He is just learning how to play and loves cat tunnels. He is a true foodie and must stay on a sensitive digestion diet. He would like a home with no young children or canines as loud noises scare him. George loves being pet and made a fuss over, but will swat when he is done with having attention.
This sweet boy is not suitable for a home with other cats as he is FIV positive. This means he will need a vet visit every year to ensure he stays healthy. He is looking for a home dedicated to ensuring he lives out the remainder of his life as healthy as possible. FIV cats can live long and happy lives, please don't let his diagnosis deter you from considering him as a forever friend.
