Gidget is a beautiful 4-year-old spayed female who came into our due to no fault of her own and is now looking for her furever home.

Gidget loves the attention she gets here at HSHPE, she has become a favourite amongst the staff and volunteers. She loves to be fussed over and pet. Gidget is not a very playful cat but loves to curl up on your lap and help with computer work. She would love if her new person worked from home or was someone who could provide her with a comfortable lap to curl up on for long periods. A nice comfy bed to sleep in would also do the trick. She tolerates being picked up but will tell you when she has had enough.

Feeding time is a favourite time of Gidget’s. She gets very excited when she thinks she is about to be fed. She is on a grain-free diet, which she will need to stay on so she can live her best life.

This sweet girl would prefer to be the only feline friend in her new home. She has taken to watching the rabbits here at the shelter though, and she finds them to be quite interesting. Like most cats, Gidget likes to bird-watch, so a home with a nice big window and a comfy spot for her to hang out is just what she’s looking for.
