His photo doesn't do him justice! Guiness has the best eyebrows of any dog out there and the sweetest, laid-back personality.

Guiness came into our care due to no fault of his own. This sweet 10-year-old boy is looking for a QUIET home to enjoy his senior years. He loves having a comfy cozy dog bed where he can lounge out.

Guiness is an indoor dog. He is house trained for up to 8 hours. He is not crate trained as he is such a good boy. Much like any hound, he does not do well off-leash and will go for a run, so his new home should have a fenced yard for him or the time to walk him. He could certainly use a couple of walks a day, Guiness has put on a few pounds! Guiness does have a couple of lumps, they have been checked out at the vet, and they're not concerned about them. The one on his right side may grow and could cause mobility issues in the future but this is only a possibility.

Guiness has lived with men, women, children and cats. He is good with dogs of all shapes and sizes as well as cats, but would probably prefer to be the only pet in the home, due only to the fact that this boy loves attention. He will come up to anyone and everyone looking for love. He loves to be pet and get attention. He even lays down to have his belly rubbed.

The perfect home for Guiness would be one where he was king of the home. Where he could spend lots of time with his new family, get lots of walks and just enjoy life. He would like a furever home that is child-free, as he finds them to be too loud and rambunctious for his liking.
