This week sweet Jack is the star of the show!
Have you ever laid eyes on such a beautiful Jack-in-the-box ?
Jack was surrendered into our care in early October. During his intake exam staff noticed a large lump on his neck, and he was brought to a veterinary partner to have this further assessed. The lump was removed (and sent away for testing- nothing negative to report!) Jack was stitched up and sent on his way. He was welcomed into our Executive Director’s home, as a temporary foster placement. This gave Jack a safe space to comfortably heal from his recent surgery. It also allowed us the opportunity to better know Jack and all of his quirks and unique traits. Lovingly named Jack (O’ lantern) because of the markings on his sweet face
, or purrrhaps it’s Jack (be nimble) because at roughly 8 years young, he hasn’t lost his agile abilities.
Jack has shared space with other feline friends and is accepting of cats with friendly and social personalities. Once Jack has time to settle into his environment he is a very outgoing boy. He will flip and flop like a fish
out of water welcoming you home after a long day, demanding belly rubs. He is vocal and will sing songs of joy when his person enters the room. Jack is a good boy, he loves toys and cuddles and is very entertaining to watch, as he loves chasing his tail. He has not been dog-tested but this can be arranged with an approved adoption application.
Jack would be great in a home with older children.
Jack is neutered, microchipped, he’s been dewormed and vaccinated- this includes his yearly rabies vaccine. Jack’s new parents will receive 4 weeks of free trial pet insurance included in his adoption fee, as well as some extras from Royal Canin, and our Community Partners.
Please consider Jack as your new forever friend!
