Jake is a 1-year-old black & white Lab mix. He came to us through animal control and was not claimed. Jake is said to be good with children of all ages as he did live with them previously. He is good with other dogs, but can be a bit energetic and jumpy with them, so finding the right dog companion is a must (if you have a dog already, a meet & greet is mandatory). He has never lived with or been around cats. Jake is still young and could benefit from an obedience class to help with the jumping. Jake barks a lot here, which could just be the environment as well as him wanting to get our attention. Jake is a very friendly and lovable dog who just loves getting affection from the staff and volunteers.

Adoption fee: $400.00 incl. spay/neuter, microchip, 1st vaccination, bordetella shot, 1st deworming, flea treatment (if necessary), four weeks free pet insurance and a free vet exam.
