Sweet Jolene is ready to find her forever home! If you are looking for a cat that will give you endless head boops- look no further!  She is a shadow cat- which means you’ll find her at your side more frequently than you’d find your own shadow! Jolene is a beautiful 8-year-young blue tabby with the softest fur. When she arrived at the QHS in Late August, she was clinging to life. Tests and blood work would show she was in the late stages of liver failure. Jolene was jaundice, very thin and unhealthy. After a vet visit, and blood panel she was put on a cocktail of medications- followed by rechecks and further blood tests- Jolene has finally been cleared for adoption! Staff worked tirelessly to give her the support she needed to become healthy and strong, and in turn have become quite smitten with this kitten!

She must be the only animal in her new home, she only has patience for people. Jolene is a very social eater as well- preferring a buffet style selection. She is a grazer, and tends to eat while we’re in the room, chatting to her or petting her. It is possible she may need further vet checks in the future, to ensure she remains healthy and strong.

Jolene has left paw prints on our hearts and we know it is time for her to settle down with a special family.

Applications can be emailed to qhs@quintehumanesociety.com and a staff member will contact you to schedule an appointment to meet her and complete the adoption process if it is a match.

Adoption fee of $175 includes; Spay/Neuter, first vaccination, general deworming, advantage if needed, microchip, and four weeks of free trial pet insurance.
