Sound the alarm! Today we're featuring Magna!

Magna was brought into our care by animal control in late October. She was found as a stray running scared on a very busy Belleville street. Magna was treated for fleas and ticks but was otherwise in good condition. Her body was healthy, but her confidence was lacking. We have allowed her time to adjust to her new world, she is becoming braver with each day that passes. At just 8 months old, it doesn’t look like Magna’s had much exposure to humans in her short life. Most likely born outside, she has relied on herself for survival. Magna is young, and with time and the right home, she will continue to gain confidence and learn to fully trust her human counterparts. Magna thrives in the company of other feline friends, she is currently housed in one of our loose cat rooms and is often found snuggling with her roommates. Magna would LOVE to have the company of another cat in her new home, dogs are too loud and clumsy for her nature. She would be suitable for a home with older children, who will love and bond with her, but also respect her need for a gradual approach.

Magna has been spayed, is up to date on vaccinations and deworming. She will be microchipped, receive coupons from Royal Canin, as well as our Community Partners. Magna’s new parents will receive 4 weeks of free trial pet insurance included with her adoption
