Max is a 3-year-old black and tan German shepherd lab mix. Max was surrendered to us and has a full surrender sheet at the front desk of the shelter.  He is house trained but not crate trained although it is something he could learn. He knows commands such as sit, paw, rollover, come and stay. Max has lots of energy and needs to get lots of exercise such as daily walks or runs. He would love to be in a home with a large backyard so he can burn some energy off easily. Max is not a fan of the shelter life, he has been reactive with the dogs in the shelter but has lived with dogs in the past as well as socialized with them and been fine. A meet & greet is mandatory if you already have another dog.

Adoption fee: $400.00 incl. spay/neuter, microchip, 1st vaccination, bordetella shot, 1st deworming, flea treatment (if necessary), four weeks free pet insurance and a free vet exam.

Items needed:  Hill’s D/D prescription diet canned food, Clorox or other high quality bleach, long lasting doggie chews that are not rawhide for enrichment.
