Here he is! Our pet of the week is Max!
๐ฑ๐ค Max arrived into our care near the end of October, he was in great shape, and microchipped- we were certain someone would come forward and lay claim to this sweet man but our efforts to contact a previous owner have been met with a dead end.
Max is in good spirits, he knows he is in good hands, and that we will do everything we can to find him a fantastic family!
Max is a very food-motivated cat, he can smell breakfast coming from the next room and starts spinning in circles when his pate arrives. He is an overly affectionate cat, often putting his front paws on shoulders so he can rub his furry face against ours. Max loves to be loved and humans seem to be his favorite species. I was able to orchestrate a quick cat test this morning and Max didn’t have much of a reaction at all when viewing his feline roommates through their kennels. With a slow and proper introduction, Max would entertain the idea of a 
feline friend in his forever home. He has not yet been tested with dogs, but this can be arranged with an approved adoption application. Max is suitable for a home with cat-savvy kids 8+ who know when it’s time to give an animal some space.
They say the eyes are the window to the soul, well if this is the case Max has a beautiful soul! He is 7 years young and does qualify for our Senior For Senior Program. This means if Max is adopted by a senior companion his adoption fee will be waived. Older cats often have a harder time finding homes, and this program allows us to pair senior cats who may be overlooked- with senior humans who are in the market for a sweet and snuggly lap warmer and lifelong companion.
Max is eagerly awaiting the news, that someone has applied to adopt him! How special he will feel knowing he’s going home! Please consider Max as your new best friend!
He will be neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, new pet parents will receive 4 weeks of free trial pet insurance- to ensure he lives out the rest of his 9 lives happy and healthy! Adopters will also receive some extras from Royal Canin and our Community Partners!
