Hailey is a beautiful 1.5-year-old feline that came into the care of HSHPE as a stray through animal control. She was not claimed, and is now ready to move on to her new furever!

Hailey is a shy cat, that enjoys observing the world from a distance. She is independent and is still getting used to being around people. She is working on gaining trust and has come around to the staff. She will need someone who will be patient with her, and allow her to get used to them.

Right now, Hailey is not a lap cat. She does not enjoy being picked up or touched much. In time she will get used to her new home and we hope that she will be more affectionate and willing to accept love and pets from people.

Toys & treats are 2 of Hailey’s favourite things. She enjoys getting treats and being hand-fed lick tubes. She will come right to you to get treats but is wary. Hailey is very playful and loves anything that moves. She is not picky about toys, anything will do!

If you are looking for a cat best friend for your current cat, Hailey is your girl! She absolutely loves other cats. We believe another cat in the home would help to bring her out of her shell and warm up to people a little more easily. Her new home must be free of dogs and children as loud noises and sudden movements are scary for her.

We are looking for a nice quiet home that will be patient with Hailey and give her the time to grow into the lovely cat that we know she can be.
