Kelly is an 8-year-old beauty that is looking for her second chance at her furever home. She was surrendered to HSHPE due to no fault of her own.

This sweet girl can be shy to start in a new environment, but once she settles in she is very friendly. She enjoys being pet and fussed over and will be a great friend to join you on the couch for a cuddle.

Kelly is a big girl and she is looking for a home that can help her continue on her weight loss journey to ensure she is as healthy as possible in her senior years. She has proven to be a picky eater here at the shelter and after trying many different foods, she has settled on Whiskas. She is receiving a controlled amount so she does not overeat. Ideally, Kelly would be eating some type of weight-loss food to get her to a slimmer size.

Indoor life is the life that Kelly enjoys. She has been an indoor cat for many years and would prefer to stay that way. She would certainly enjoy a nice window where she could watch the outdoor world. Kelly likes to use a scratching post and would enjoy access to one in her new home. 

Kelly has lived with adults and been around children. After getting to know her, the staff recommends she live with children older than 8 years. She came into our care with another cat and would do great in a home with another laid-back feline friend, preferably another senior that would be of the same energy level.  She has not been tested with dogs, but this could be done with an approved application.

Kelly is spayed and will be microchipped, vaccinated, and dewormed and her adoption fee will include extras from our Community Partners!

Kelly qualifies for our Senior for Senior Program. Her adoption fee will be waived for a senior adopter over the age of 65 years.
