Meet Mrytle!

🗣 Myrtle arrived in care through animal control earlier this month, she wasn’t alone. Sweet Myrtle had a single 4-week old kitten with her.

🐈‍⬛ Myrtle was given an intake exam and like many cats who’ve been on their own for some time, she had ear mites, broken canines, red and inflamed gums, fleas, and cuts on her ears and head. She wasn’t bearing weight on her hind end and was taken to a veterinary partner to further investigate.

💜 After some pain medication, and cage rest Myrtle is feeling much better! Because she was given pain meds, her kitten went into foster care with a staff member as mom could no longer nurse.

💫 Now that Myrtle has a full belly, clean ears, she’s been vaccinated and dewormed, she is feeling like a million bucks and her very sweet nature has emerged.

🐾 She is an approx. 3 years old, petite, and oh so sweet black and white domestic shorthair. Myrtle feels safe in her space and rolls over as soon as the kennel opens and she knows she’s about to get a belly rub. She is comfortable being pet all over, and melts into your hands. Myrtle will make an exceptional lap cat. It’s almost as if she’s making up for lost time and taking advantage of all the love and snuggles sent her way.

Myrtle isn’t overly reactive to other cats, but will need time to adjust if she’s going to share her new home with another feline friend. Dog are unknown at this time but a dog test can be arranged with an approved adoption application.

🥰 Myrtle will be booked in for spay as soon as her new family chooses her as their best friend!

Please open your heart and home to a deserving gal like Myrtle today!
