Put your paws together for Palmer!
Palmer was picked up by animal control and brought into our care in early June. Palmer wasn’t made for outdoor living, he was covered in parasites, and had a deep puncture wound on his shoulder. Palmer would like to remind everyone that indoors is the safest place for our beloved companion animals. Palmer was cleaned up, medicated, and started feeling better right away. We estimate him to be approx. 2 years old. He’s a short hair blue male who’s been neutered since arriving in our care.
Palmer is a sweet guy, he can become overstimulated but always welcomes calm pets, and he does give signs to indicate he’s had enough love for now and will be back soon. He is quite an affectionate fellow and will stretch out on your shoulder to kiss your cheek. Palmer is well suited for a home with children who are 8 years or older. Children who understand cat language and know a wildly whipping tail means Palmer needs some space. He only has room in his heart for people and is not interested in sharing his new home with
other animals. He promises he has more than enough personality to fill your heart
with joy.
He is now up to date on his vaccines, including rabies, and has been dewormed and treated with advantage. Palmer is feeling much better and is ready to start his new life! He’s patiently waiting, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, hoping that today is his day!
