Meet Power Momma & Power Sister!

Power Momma & Power Sister are bonded and ready to find their quiet furever home together!

This pair came into the care of HSHPE with their siblings and Momma’s babies and were not claimed. Momma was injured and needed medical care immediately. It is thought that she was attacked by some type of animal and this caused her to need a tail amputation. Power Momma has since healed from her surgery and has been spayed.

These two love to curl up with each other and give each other baths during the day. They enjoy the company of each other more than humans right now. They do accept pets, although Momma seems more interested in them than Sister. She will tell you when she has had enough. Power Momma will curl up in your lap and be pet, whereas Power Sister is still taking her time warming up to getting affection.

They are very playful when they think nobody is watching and enjoy other cats. They can often be heard chirping at all the other residents in their room. Another cat in their home would not be a problem. They haven’t been dog tested at this time but could potentially do okay with a calm and respectful dog. A quiet home with adults only or older children would be the best for these two, as they are still shy and will take time to settle into their new environment.

If you have patience and lots of yummy treats, you will have two new best friends. This Power duo loves food. It is certainly the way to their hearts. They are always prepared and waiting for their breakfast when staff arrive in the morning. They love wet food as well as treats and lick tubes. They’re not picky!

Please think about opening your heart & home to Power Momma & Power Sister. They will take time to settle into their new life, but we are sure that once they do you will have a couple of sweethearts on your hands.

Wish list: Paper towels, hidey houses for cats, martingale collars for dogs & heavy-duty garbage bags
