Stunning Senior Cat Seeks Forever Home!
Rowan was surrendered into our care in May of this year. He wasn't in the greatest shape upon arrival. Rowan's coat was in terrible condition and because of this his fur was shaved to remove the thick matted fur that tugged on his skin. Rowan had a hard time adjusting to his temporary accommodations, he really shut down, stopped eating, stopped playing, and stopped purring. Rowan needed a friend to boost his spirits, and one of our staff members was happy to share an office with this sweet boy!
After a few days the spark in Rowan's eyes came back, and what beautiful eyes he has! Rowan started grooming his fuzzy black and white fur, and was eating again! He always welcomed his room mate with sweet morning chirps. Rowan is a great cat! He is a senior (8 years old) and willing to accept another senior cat as his cat pal but it will take time for him to bond. He is tolerant of other laid back cats here, but does like his own space. 
Rowan now has his very own "Adoption Pod" and some days you can find him sitting in the window sill waiting for his family to come and adopt him. More often than not he's curled up in his cat tower snoozing the day away. As soon as you walk by and say his name he'll pop out and come to say hello 
. Rowan has a very sweet side, he'll follow you around like a shadow and flops over on his back and asks for belly rubs- but not for too long or he'll start peddle kicking. He is a frisky 
guy and makes us laugh all the time. 
We're very hopeful Rowan will have the opportunity to experience home life again, and be cherished for the unique guy he is.
Rowan has been eating Performatrin Senior cat food while with us and we recommend he stay on this food in his new home. He will require a close relationship with a vet in his future home to monitor his health.
He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and has had a dental. Rowan's ready to roll out with his new forever family!
