I’m late! I’m late! For a very important date! Much like the white rabbit from Alice and Wonderland, Snowy is late… for a date with her forever family!
Snowy was found as a stray and picked up through animal control. She arrived in late October, and we’re thankful she did because within days of settling in Snowy birthed a litter of wee kits. Snowy and her litter were placed in a foster home, her little ones grew healthy and strong and most of them have found loving homes.
Mama Snowy is still waiting; she is a beautiful New Zealand mix, all white, and extra soft. We estimate her to be 4 years old, and when properly cared for, rabbits can live up to 10 years. She has been spayed since coming into our care, there are many health benefits from having your rabbit spayed or neutered, and a longer life expectancy is one of those benefits! Snowy is a very sweet gal with a huge personality! She loves toys and is a very playful girl. She is especially fond of toy boats and will place them in her water dish to see if they float. Snowy loves her greens and is very fond of spinach ! She prefers to keep her paws on the floor and enjoys sitting close while having her giant ears pet. Snowy would enjoy a home with children who are 10+, and previous experience with rabbits is always an added bonus!
They are amazing companion animals who require much more than just a cage in order to live a happy and comfortable life. If interested in adding a rabbit to your family, please do your research. Rabbits are deserving of daily enrichment, and time outside of their kennel to explore. Snowy is working on her litter habits and has caught on very quickly!
Snowy is ready to hop into the hearts of her forever family! Please consider this sweet lady as your new companion!
