Tune into CJBQ 800 AM to listen live on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:25 AM for Featured Pets and other great information about QHS proudly sponsored by CJBQ, the station that cares about community!
Tails came into the care of HSHPE due to no fault of his own. He came in with quite a few cats, most of which have already found their new homes. We hope someone will fall in love with this sweet boy and give him a second chance at his furever!
If you’ve been looking for a friendly and outgoing feline friend, look no further, Tails is your guy! He is not shy at all and doesn’t hide here at the shelter. You will find him roaming around the room, bird watching out the windows or curled up for a nap on one of the many cat trees.
Tails has been enjoying living loose in our boardroom with his friend Ulysses. Staff often find the two boys curled up together taking naps or grooming one another. They have started playing with toys together as well. Tails has helped Ulysses come out of his shell and it would be great if they could be adopted together.
Toys and food are two of Tails favourite things. He absolutely loves food and is often found sneaking kibbles and wet food out of other cats’ cages. He is currently on a special diet called GO! Limited Ingredient (Pollock Flavour) and gets kibble only. Sparkle balls are the toy of choice for Tails. He loves them and will often pick them up and run around the room with them. He is a very playful boy and likes chasing toys around. He will play with wand toys and laser pointers as well.
He does not enjoy being picked up and prefers to keep all four of his paws on the floor. Tails will come to you for pets and affection.
The ideal home for Tails would be one where he has a kitty friend (he would love to go home with Ulysses!) to play with, lots of toys and a human to play with him! He would be fine with children 8 years + and adults.
Tails can’t wait to meet his furever family!
