Midnight is an 8-year-old male neutered, black cat. Midnight came to us back in August. Since being here, Midnight has begun his weight-loss journey. He eats special weight management food that he will continue to need once adopted. Because he a larger boy, he needs to have a large litter box, preferably one that has some type of hood. Midnight sometimes misses the box because his legs get sore when he uses the bathroom. He does have a weakened back end, likely because he is overweight, as he does not seem to have any health issues. Midnight currently lives with other cats, although he prefers the calmer and quieter ones. He loves human attention and will follow you around the room until you stop and pet him but he prefers not to be picked up. He enjoys playing with toys (which is good because he needs the exercise!) and loves cat nip. Midnights all time favourite way to pass the day is by curling up on a big, comfortable bed and taking a catnap.

The Quinte Humane Society adopts out cats and kittens onsite at the shelter or from PetSmart, Tropical Gardens Pet Shop or Bestie’s Pet Spa in Belleville ON.
