If you are looking for an exercise partner, Milo is the dog for you! Milo is a handsome 2-year-old husky mix looking for an active home where he has the ability to expel his endless energy with lots of walk/runs and playtime. Milo is a puppy at heart! He is looking for a home that is willing to put him into obedience classes. Milo likes to jump up, can be a bit mouthy at times and pulls while walking. Milo is an explorer and fence climber, which is what landed him in the care of Humane Society HPE. He does not like being contained alone in areas and will find a way to escape. He can climb a chain-link fence in the blink of an eye! So his new home would ideally have a wooden fence and someone who can keep an eye on the little Houdini while he has his outside time. Milo also loves to talk and can be a loud barker, but is very food motivated which is great for training purposes. He is a very sweet boy that loves affection, pets and being brushed. He is also very smart and will need to be both physically and mentally enriched to tire him out. He would be suitable for a home with kids 10+. Milo is not suitable for a home with cats. He would do well with another dog in a home, a meet and greet would be required to ensure a compatible match.
