Nunchuck is an approximately 4-year-old female. She is a long haired, black and white kitty. Nunchuck has just arrived at the shelter and staff is still getting to know her. She has some mild matting that staff will address once she has settled, and her new home will need to brush her to keep her from getting mats behind her ears. Nunchuck is a friendly girl who likes to be pet. She enjoys having access to a scratching post or scratching board. Nunchuck prefers the company of dogs and is not a big fan of feline friends. She has had outdoor access in the past, and she may enjoy being taken outside on a leash or having access to a screened in, kitty friendly area with supervision.

Cat Adoption fee of $175 includes; Spay/Neuter, first vaccination, rabies vaccination, general deworming, advantage if needed, microchip, four weeks of free trial pet insurance and a free exam at a local participating vet.

The Quinte Humane Society adopts out cats and kittens onsite at the shelter or from PetSmart & Tropical Gardens Pet Shop. Items Needed: Small cat scratch boxes or toys (that will fit in our cages), bleach & spay shirts to keep them from licking after surgeries (can be found on Amazon).
