Opah is a 4.5-year-old female cat. She came in as a stray through Animal Control and was never claimed. She had a case of flea allergy dermatitis and was cover in scratches from itching herself. Opah has been with us for a month now and has healed up perfectly. Being a stray, staff has no information on how she is with other pets. She does not growl or hiss when she sees other cats here, so she would likely be fine in a home with another laidback kitty who didn’t want to play too much. We also think she would be alright with an older dog that would leave her alone. Opah can be kind of shy, and she really enjoys having her hidey bed to hang out in. Because of her shyness, she would do better in a home that was nice and quiet, without young children running around. Opah does not enjoy being picked up, but she does love to be pet. She really enjoys having her cheeks rubbed. If you believe you have a nice quiet home where Opah can enjoy the rest of her days watching the world out a window, please stop into the shelter and meet her!

Cat Adoption Fee of $140 includes; Spay/Neuter, first vaccination, general deworming, advantage if needed, microchip, four weeks of free trial pet insurance and a free exam at a local participating vet.

The Quinte Humane Society adopts out cats and kittens onsite at the shelter or from PetSmart & Tropical Gardens Pet Shop.
