Paroo is a 1-year-old black and white female. She came to us as a very pregnant stray. She was monitored very closely while with us, and she had her kittens at the shelter. Unfortunately, Paroo became very sick and could not care for her only kitten. Her kitten went into foster care and the staff worked on setting up a medical treatment program for the sweet mama cat. Within a couple weeks, she made a full recovery and was able to be moved to our free roaming room. There she was introduced to a litter of semi-feral kittens that had lost their mother. Paroo jumped right in and started to take care of them. She would groom them and teach them that their human caregivers were good people. She has a wonderful personality; she loves other cats and people. She would do well in any home as she has proven she can adjust too many situations. If you are looking for a fun and super friendly cat, she is your girl!

The Quinte Humane Society adopts out cats and kittens onsite at the shelter or from PetSmart in Belleville ON.
