Tune into CJBQ 800 AM to listen live on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:25 AM for Featured Pets and other great information about QHS proudly sponsored by CJBQ, the station that cares about community!
Patricia is a 2-year-old female cat who came into the care of HSHPE through Animal Control back in July 2021. Unfortunately, she was not claimed. She has had a long stay with us but now she is available for adoption and is patiently waiting for her new furever home!
This girl is shy to start. She takes some time to warm up to people. Her new home will need to understand that she will likely hide to start and will take time getting used to her new environment. She can be a bit skittish and does get scared of loud noises.
Patricia is a playful girl! She is obsessed with jingle balls and loves playing with them. She will chase them all day long if you let her. She is accepting of pets by staff but does not enjoy being caged up. She would enjoy a nice window where she can lounge in the sun and enjoy a bit of bird watching.
The perfect home for this sweet girl would be adult-only as children can be too much for her. She may do okay with another laid-back, submissive cat, but ideally, her home would be cat free. She absolutely does not want to live with a canine companion.
Patricia is on a special diet. She is currently eating UR Salmon, which is a urinary food and she will need to remain on this food for the duration of her life. This is not a recommendation it is a must! Patricia’s urinary health remains intact due to this special diet.
Patricia is available for Foster to Adopt adoption at this time.
If you have the patience to take it slow with this beautiful feline, you will have a friend for life!
Wish list: pate canned cat food, small covered litterboxes, medium/large cat trees, cat scratching posts/boxes and paper towel.
