Peanut is a 2-year-old domestic shorthair female. She is a beautiful calico with lovely markings. Peanut came to us as a stray, so we do not know what her previous history was, but since being with us we have noticed that she is timid around people. She is a shy cat who can take some time to warm up to you, but when she does, she really enjoys being pet. She does enjoy playing with toys. Peanut is not a cat who likes to be picked up, she would rather do her own thing. She is looking for a quiet home, where she is the only cat, and she can continue to learn how to trust and love her humans.

Cat Adoption fee of $140 includes; Spay/Neuter, first vaccination, general deworming, advantage if needed, microchip, four weeks of free trial pet insurance and a free exam at a local participating vet.

The Quinte Humane Society adopts out cats and kittens onsite at the shelter or from PetSmart, Tropical Gardens Pet Shop or Bestie’s Pet Spa in Belleville ON.
