Here she is HSHPE Supporters! Today we feature Sidney!

Sidney is a lovely grey and white standard rat . She was surrendered into our care with her sister, who we affectionately named Azzy. Although Azzy wasn’t with us long, her life mattered. She had a massive tumor on her tiny body and after being seen by a veterinary partner it was determined humane euthanasia was the kindest thing we could do for her. This has been exceptionally hard on her sister with whom she was bonded since birth. It is our hope we can find Sidney a home with a friendly and social single, or rat pack. She can be housed with females or neutered males. Sidney is very sweet, she is social and used to being handled. She seems to really enjoy a warm pocket or going for a stroll while tucked safely into a sweater. Sidney is somewhere between 3-4 years of age, which puts her in her golden years.

She is a senior and we would love to see her live out the rest of her life surrounded by a loving family.
