Tune into CJBQ 800 AM to listen live on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:25 AM for Featured Pets and other great information about QHS proudly sponsored by CJBQ, the station that cares about community!
We currently have an A-BUN-DANCE of rabbits available for adoption at QHS. A variety of ages, colors and personalities. Please call or email to find out how to adopt!
Today we are featuring -Skip and Marbles, they arrived in rough shape, and weren’t fed an appropriate diet in their original home and were underweight. These guys were the result of an unplanned litter. Rabbits are social animals and benefit greatly from the company of another rabbit when properly bonded. Bonded rabbits groom each other, sleep, eat and play together. A constant companion prevents boredom and loneliness, and once bonded the pair should not be separated.
Adopting a bonded pair is a great way to avoid the often long and complicated bonding process and you save two lives instead of just one!
Both Skip and Marbles have been spayed, their adoption fee reflects this- $200 for the pair. Rabbit spays cost just as much if not more than a cat spay. These lovely girls have been waiting since October 2020 to find a forever family. Please open your heart and home to a bunny in need, and remember Rabbits are not a novelty gift. Animals are a commitment, and when deciding to adopt, keep in mind rabbits can live 8-12 years and will add much joy to a household.
Items Needed: We're currently in need of small, medium and large dog jackets. Spring is on its way but we aren't out of the woods yet! The jackets help make our animals comfortable while spending time outside. We're also in need of cat tunnels, and cat grass for our feline friends!
