Tune into CJBQ 800 AM to listen live on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:25 AM for Featured Pets and other great information about QHS proudly sponsored by CJBQ, the station that cares about community!
Spice is a beautiful 7-year-old calico that was surrendered to QHS when her owner was no longer able to care for her. Spice has settled in quickly and is a sweet girl with a little bit of sass. Anyone who’s ever met a calico knows they have their own love language. In her previous home Spice has lived with both feline and canine siblings, a proper introduction is always the key to a long lasting companionship. Spice is a large girl and could stand to loose a few pounds, will you help get her body Summer ready!? She is looking for a home that will continue to support her weight loss journey! Spice has lived with children 10+ and would do well in a home with cat savvy kids.
Fun fact: calicos are almost always female, roughly 1 in every 3000 cats with a calico pattern will be male.
Spice is eligible for our senior for senior program! This means her adoption fee will be waived if adopted by a senior companion. She has already been spayed and can begin her new life the very same day she is adopted. Spice will be vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and her new parents will receive 4 weeks free trial pet insurance.
If you are interested in meeting Peter, you can go to our website www.quintehumanesociety.com and fill out an adoption application under the Adoption tab. Applications can be emailed to qhs@quintehumanesociety.com and a staff member will contact you to schedule an appointment to meet him and complete the adoption process if it is a match.
Items Needed: Large garbage bags, senior wet food, hot water bottles and warming discs.
