Tigertail is a 4-month-old spayed female. She is a brown tabby with orange flecks throughout. She is a truly beautiful little girl. Tigertail came to us a stray when she was just a 6-week old kitten. She was very afraid and was semi-feral. She went straight into foster care and with the help of another cat, she has come out of her shell. Her new home will need to understand that change is difficult for her, and they will need to be patient as she gets used to her new home as she will probably start off with finding a safe place to hide. Tigertail is still quite shy and can get easily spooked by loud noises and sudden movements. A home that is child free as well as dog free is a must, because both would be very stressful for her. Tigertail’s new home will need to have another feline friend in the home who is very social and can show her what it’s like to live the life of an indoor kitty. She does not like to be picked up, she prefers to come to you and once comfortable will climb into your lap. Fixed Kitten Adoption Fee of $175 includes; Spay/Neuter, first vaccination, general deworming, advantage if needed, microchip, four weeks of free trial pet insurance and a free exam at a local participating vet.

The Quinte Humane Society adopts out cats and kittens onsite at the shelter or from PetSmart & Tropical Gardens Pet Shop.
